Technical Sales Specialist

Last summer, Bell MTS Data Centres opened the $53-million Data Centre and Cloud computing facility located in Winnipeg, MB – Opening a new era for the local ICT Sector.

At 64,000 square feet, The Bell MTS Data Centre is designed to be Manitoba’s largest and most advanced, secure, reliable and environmentally friendly commercial Data Centre. Enabling Bell MTS to provide State-of-the-art IT and Cloud services to both Manitoba Businesses, as well as organizations across North America.

We are currently accepting applications for a Technical Sales Specialist to join the team.

Roles and Responsibilities for Bell MTS Data Centres Sales and Technical Specialist:

  • Engage Team to share insights (e.g. market, technology), trends and ongoing evolution of Data Centre services
  • Share new leads / opportunities with the sales team as they become available
  • Provide technical assessments of qualified opportunities in regards to size, service options, budgetary pricing, etc.
  • Engage customer directly to provide service details and technical architecture
  • Provide content for quotes / proposals / RFPs submissions
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts
  • Keep Team informed throughout the sales process
  • Ongoing management and reporting of opportunity in Data Centre funnel tool
